This year’s tournament will be held on Thursday August 17 th 2023 at the beautiful Timberwolf Golf Club. Enjoyed the test from the tips, loved that 242 yard par 3. No reason to jump around and act like you own the place in a 3 man scramble from near the ladies tees and act like there's a fire. Hope the best for Gordy but on a weekend with all the " locals" doing their thing, maybe hire an old timer to keep an eye on the play. ![]() Wish there was a ranger, really the only complaint because the course had so much character for its age and the value received was very fair. Totally no etiquette and ruined our attitude the whole back nine. Altnough an older threesome it was like they owned the course and were absolutely not following us after making the turn and were " jumping" from wherever the heck they played their last hole. Ok here's the real downer, a few 3 man scramble golfers ran up behind us on the tenth tee and were right on our butts downright disrupting a nice round by the wife and I. Although an older course it was fun on a warm humid Sunday bafternoon. The positives, very good character and unusual holes without being super tricked up, quite a bit of elevation change and some memorable holes. $37 each and showed about 6600 yards from the tips with a 133 slope so I thought what the heck should be fun although no bent grass fairways and average tee box conditions. It provides a pleasant challenge from the longest tees with a terrain that provides vast elevation changes, contoured fairways, some narrow landing areas, and mildly undulating greens. Had read two guys who golf review and it was a go. Timber Wolf Golf Club works well for golfers of all abilities and skill levels. We spoke to Gord in the staging area and was very personable and has owned the course 15 years.
